@amsepsey If the nail tech didn’t understand(which I find a little surprising)- I would do some research for different nail salons in your area, walk in, picture in hand, and ask them if they will apply the acrylic in that way. I would also bring in a picture of the acrylic application in progress( 2:04 is a good point). Try saying- french manicure acrylic set with a coloured free edge/tip and a glitter acrylic accent at the smile line fading into the tip colour(and stress crisp smile line).

@amsepsey Are you talking of the shape of the free edge or the way the acrylic was applied? If the latter, I personally describe it as a two-tone glitter fade, the glitter being at the smile line. Have you tried finding a picture and taking it in with you?

i have just have a quick question. i have started doing nails on myself…. but here is my problem, when i file them smooth… well my perception of smooth. everything at this point goes great except that when i apply the top coat to finish the nail. once the top coat is dry i can see the file lines and buffer lines on the acrylic. i’m not use the UV light yet but… i would love to know how to do nails with out those file lines or scratches?

@Thecoolpinkprincess2 It is not permanent. It is water based so if placed without a top coat it is removed with water. So yes it can be removed with polish remover!
