Manicure State Board Plastic Hand

Step-by-step instructions for Beauty School Students to pass the State Board of Cosmetology and get their manicure or cosmetology license and start making money.
Manicuring Procedure:
Clean the table
Set up
Sanitize your hands with a hand sanitizer
Sanitize the plastic hand
Remove the nail polish
File the free edge with emery board; from the corner to the center
Soak the hand into the water, brush the nails
Apply cuticle remover
Push the cuticle
Clean under the free edge with orange-wood-stick and cotton
Clean the nails with brush and water
Dry the hand
Apply cuticle oil on nails and massage
Massage the hand; back of the hand, palm of the hand and the fingers
Remove oil off of the nails and the free edge
Dry the nails
Apply the base coat
Apply the red nail polish
Apply the top coat
Turn the hand away from you to indicate that you finished the manicure
Clean up
This is an instructional video/class for cosmetologists, manicurists, beauty school students, manicuring students, international students who would like to pass the state board examination.

I am trying to start doing my own nails and I am really interested in finding out which white, clear, and pink acrylic powders are good for acrylic nails? I’m just trying to find some thing good and decent that’s a reasonable price. And does anyone know how to mix or where I can buy the glitter acrylics? Thanks a bunch. Any tips would be great!!

It’s not a good idea to do your own acrylics unless ur a proffesional. You might burn urself and your nails could get really damged

I’m writing my first resume for my first OFFICIAL job (I’m 15).
When I was 14 I worked at a flea market (under the table kinda thing) doing little girl’s nails and manicures and pedicures to everyone.
How would I relate that to being able to handle children? I’m applying for a camp counselor kinda thing. Should i even include that?

Don’t think you should include that cuz then they’d ask for references and then they’d find out that it’s illegal (if it is).

They are like all chopped up and nasty, I can’t afford fake nails any more so what can I do? It’s very important to me how my nails look

cut them and then file it into a good shape. use one of those sanding files to remove all the glue and smooth your nails out. paint it over with clear polish to make them look nice (and then whatever color you want after that that)

I’ve always had "a thing" with nice hands and feet so I give my boyfriend a manicure and pedicure once a week ( I don’t paint his nails lol) and he absolutely loves them on friday nights even though I don’t ask for them back I think it would be just a little too much work for him lol!
